Colour, yarn, and the people who make things with them are at the heart of Wild Woollys. We make artisan hand-dyed yarn, and we're looking for someone to help with hands-on work in the studio.

Studio assistant
About the role
Support the day-to-day work of the Wild Woollys studio, from preparing yarn to packing customer orders. This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things organized and getting the details right.
What you'll do
- Wind yarn.
- Skein yarn.
- Neutralize water.
- Wash pots and pans.
- Prepare and label yarn accurately.
- Keep the studio and work areas tidy and organized.
- Pack and ship customer orders with care, making sure every parcel is complete and neatly presented.
What we're looking for
- Comfort with practical, hands-on tasks.
- A reliable, organized approach to your work.
- Attention to detail when handling yarn, labels, and orders.
An interest in yarn, knitting, crochet, or other fibre arts is welcome.
